I have always enjoyed visiting museums and learning about history, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I found a Pioneer Village to visit in nearby Kissimmee! If you're interested in experiencing what life was like for Florida's early settlers, the Pioneer Village in Kissimmee is a must-visit destination. Located in Osceola Heritage Park, the village is a living history museum that offers visitors a glimpse into Florida's past. The Pioneer Village is home to 13 historical sturctures that have been carefully restored and preserved. These structures include a schoolhouse, church, general store, blacksmith shop, and a citrus packing house, among others.
